The Board of Directors of the Davis Funds has approved the following changes, which will become effective 06/30/2024:
- Davis Appreciation & Income Fund will become Davis Balanced Fund.
- Davis Value Portfolio will become Davis Equity Portfolio.
Reason for the name changes:
In light of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s amendments to its rule related to fund names, the Funds will be renamed to better align with each Fund’s primary investment focus.
Importantly, the Funds’ investment objectives, strategies, and restrictions are not changing in connection with such name changes, nor will there be any impact on the way that the Funds are managed. All fund identifiers will remain the same.
